In Memory of Deborah Eaton Curtis | 1953-2017
The Curtis Leadership Foundation (CLF) is a Non-Profit Organization that leads INNOVATION 4.0 with the National Police Athletic League (PAL) and 3BDreams. Founded in 2017 in memory of Deborah Eaton Curtis, CLF develops curriculum and strategy that prepare future leaders and innovators to embody their values, build trust, harness their inspirations and frustrations, create, collaborate and communicate, and tackle the world’s greatest challenges, as they launch future-proof careers.
In partnership with the National Police Athletic League (PAL) and 3BDreams, the Curtis Leadership Foundation’s primary initiative is INNOVATION 4.0, future-proofing the workforce by enhancing Leadership and Innovation Skills, and harnessing data while reducing Bias in the hiring process.
INNOVATION 4.0 arms its participants with a curriculum that allows them to practice and strengthen their Leadership and Innovation Talent, their Values, and their Principles. INNOVATION 4.0 has also developed a strategy to provide data-driven tools for matching talent to careers, based on hiring processes that are free from bias.

Founding Members allow us to clearly articulate the width and depth of our program and the interest in it. We will be continuously asking Founding Members to contribute on their experience of Leadership and Innovation. Members will be periodically asked to contribute their opinions and experiences, and contributions will be placed into our Training Program and/or taken into consideration for strategic direction.
Membership: The Curtis Leadership Foundation is currently accepting Founding Members for the remainder of 2017. There is no cost to be a Founding Member. Founding Members will receive a monthly newsletter by E-mail and may participate in a Quarterly Phone Conference regarding the Foundation’s initiatives. Deborah Eaton Curtis – better known as Debba – was an teacher of History for 33 years at Waynflete School in Portland, Maine. A member of the first co-ed class at Williams College, her long career included a role as Assistant District Attorney in New York City in the 1970’s. Overcoming many challenges in her life, including the loss of her eyesight in her 40’s, Debba’s grit, determination, and sense of humor, were a constant inspiration to the many generations of students and teachers whose lives she touched.
Per Debba’s wishes, contributions in her memory may be made to “The Debba Curtis Fund for Students in Need” at the Waynflete School. Memorial contributions may be mailed to Waynflete School, c/o the Development Office, 360 Spring Street, Portland, ME 04102. The Debba Curtis Fund for Students in Need provides financial assistance over and above the operating budget to Waynflete students, of all ages, who are receiving substantial financial aid awards, and for whom extra financial assistance is necessary. Such assistance will take the form of school supplies, café meals, transportation, college visits, academic support, athletic equipment, and any other school activities as necessary for student’s full participation in the Waynflete program.
